Eye contact is underrated. I mean, you can just look into someone's eyes, and the world might stop too. Seriously, it's not common. There are some psychological terms like "twin-soul," "twin-mate," "soul-mate," and many more that can literally define the chemistry of eye contacts. I am a movie maniac, and on weekends I watch some old classic movies. One weekend I watched a movie named "Scarface" There is a scene in that film where the protagonist says, "The eyes, Chico, they never lie!" - Al Pacino (Scarface). That's how I came up with this blog post.

Eye contacts are EXTREMLY underrated nowadays!

If you are on dating apps like Bumble looking for the love of your life, then you are a fool. People are too busy finding love via profiles that they forget how important it is to make eye contact with "the one" of your life. Don't go out and make eye contact with everyone you see; instead, keep your head up and away from your phone. People are always on their phones, and they don't realise how much they hinder their ability to find a mate because, when they aren't, they stare at the ground or into space to avoid an awkward feeling of vulnerability.

Our eyes are the portals to our soul.

"लोग नज़रों को भी पढ़ लेते हैं,
अपनी आँखों को झुकाए रखना।"

Not fantasising eyes, but that's true. The way a person looks at us can reveal a lot about their thoughts. Yeah, it does sound filmy when I say that eyes are the window to our soul, but on the other hand, we all melted when Anuv Jain said, "Teri Aankhon Ka Kajal Na Phele Ab Kabhi Bhi Tujhe Itna Pyaar Dun" because we all somewhere believed that eyes do have the power to convey the feeling even when we are lacking the ability to express it through our words and expressions.

Eyes do play an important role.

I remember being a kid and having that crazy love for chocolates and sweets, which were always hidden somewhere in our house. My mom used to magically bring them from somewhere when relatives used to come to our house. I used to stand beside that sweet dish so my relatives could offer it to me, but my mom used to convey the message "Go ahead and eat one and I'll kill you" through her eyes. So, yes, the eyes do play an important role in conveying the things we want to convey to someone.

Urdu shayar knew that better

छुपायें कई अरमान आपकी ये नजरें,

ले ले न कहीं हमारी जान आपकी ये नजरें।

Trust me, Shayar was far ahead of us when it came to impressing someone. They knew that you could melt any girl by praising her eyes. Poets, writers, and musicians know very well that how important it is to look into someone's eyes and come up with an art piece. Millennials, who spend half of their time on their phones, will never realise it. Even those people who are out for that "just casual" thing will always be around casually and will find that spark. Nevermind.
