Imagine a time skip here.

Event Day 1

It was event day at Fatema's college, and on the same day, Yatin had some work to complete. He woke up early in the morning and made sure he wrapped everything up until 2 p.m. and went into the event until 3 p.m. It was quite hectic for him, but the urge to see her again made it all possible. The first person he visited at the event was Fatema. They both greeted each other and had a little conversation. The plan was to just see Fatema and leave, but she was an anchor in the event, so that made him stay. just with an intention to see her more.

Yatin knew this was the last day he was going to get to see her because on the second day of the event she was unable to attend due to some work. So, Yatin made sure that all the time he had, he was going to watch her and admire her from far, and that's what he did. whole event, he noticed new things about her. At first, it was just the way she smiled that was worth admiring, but the more he noticed, the more he saw that there were some other things worth admiring about her. Like the way she walks and goes towards the person she really enjoys being with, the cute stance she takes while she stands, the dance she does while the music plays, the ways she pulls her friends to dance along with her, the way she flips her hair, and many more never-ending things. To be honest, it was worth watching. The event was good but Yatin was just present their to have sights of her.

Sadly, Yatin couldn't meet Fatema before leaving. It was Yatin who left a little early with his friend. While walking the distance from college to station, Yatin was venting that he couldn't see her while leaving in front of his friend, but that was it. While walking one of the Hindi sher striked in the mind of Yatin and it was "मैंने उसको इतना देखा, जितना देखा जा सकता था लेकिन फिर भी दो आँखों से कितना देखा जा सकता था"

the translation is "I saw her as much as could be seen but still how much could be seen with two eyes." That quote hits hardest in situations like these.

This isn't a love story, but the ending is worth discussing. Like, how does it feel when you strive to see someone like hell and you finally get to see them, but you know you've got that time limit and it's the last time you see each other, and in addition to that, you don't know when you get to see them back? That last goodbye plays an important role in situations like this, and that's what Yatin misses the most, and that's how the story ends. But here’s the thing about life: It works in a very funny way and sometimes unfortunate ways. Nevertheless, it was worth a shot. Being grateful helps here. Just be thankful that you met the special someone in your life, be thankful that you got the chance to know him or her, and be thankful that you got to feel the way you felt about them in your lifetime. Some people never do, but you did!
