The Start of an Exciting Journey
When I decided to pursue an MBA, I knew it would be a significant commitment that would push me outside my comfort zone. The Theory of Demand and Supply was my first official module, and I approached it with a mix of excitement and anticipation. It felt like opening a door to a world filled with complex ideas that are the backbone of business and economics.
The Fun Moments: Despite the academic rigor, there were many moments of joy and discovery:
Interactive Learning: The engaging online lectures and case studies made even the toughest concepts interesting. It was fun to connect theory with real-world examples and understand how fundamental economic principles influence everything from local businesses to global markets.
Connecting with Peers: Participating in discussion boards and study groups allowed me to interact with people from diverse professional backgrounds. Sharing insights and debating viewpoints enriched the learning experience and created a sense of camaraderie.

So, I’ve had one of those rare and magical experiences recently that I just couldn’t wait to share with you all. Picture this: a relaxed afternoon at the office, with sunlight streaming through the windows. The atmosphere buzzed with a mix of fellowship and creativity. What kicked things off? A spontaneous musical jam session with my amazing colleagues!
The Challenges Along the Way
No journey is without its challenges, and this module was no exception:
Balancing Commitments: "Time management is the key to everything," I once heard, but putting that into practice was another story. Managing coursework alongside work and personal life was a real juggling act. Every day felt like a race against the clock, and finding time for each was sometimes impossible. "The hardest part is finding time for what matters most," I often thought as I struggled to stick to my schedule. Setting up a routine was essential, but there were days when I barely kept up, and the weight of unfinished tasks felt overwhelming.
Complex Concepts: Some topics, like market equilibrium shifts and elasticity, were tough to wrap my head around initially. It took hours of extra reading and problem-solving to fully grasp these ideas.
Staying Disciplined: Motivation can waver, especially during particularly dense sections of the module. "There are days when you’re on fire, and days when you feel like you’ve hit a wall," I realized. But I learned that discipline, not motivation, was what kept me moving forward. There were times when I didn’t want to read one more page or solve another problem. But I had to remind myself: "The goal isn't always to feel motivated; it's about showing up and doing the work even when you don't feel like it." That mindset turned out to be the most valuable takeaway—discipline is the fuel that keeps you going when motivation is running low.

We sang together, even gathered a crowd and did everything that we were able to do musically but at a point we came across silence.
