It’s always exciting to witness the creative journey of talented friends, and today, I’m thrilled to share the incredible achievement of my friend Shubham, who has just launched an original song- Aarzu with his friends. This project is a beautiful collaboration with two other incredibly gifted individuals—Parul Singh, who penned the lyrics, and Vidushi Gupta, who composed the music. Together, they’ve created something truly special that will leave a lasting impression.
I still remember that one moment when I was caught up in work, and I suddenly received a text from Shubham with an MP3 demo of his new song- Aarzu. I was so excited; I immediately listened to it. It sounded amazing already, but I couldn’t wait to share it, so I told my assistant manager, who’s also a close friend, Obed, about it. His response? “I know.” Turns out, Shubham had already sent it to him too!
We ended up discussing the song and offered a few suggestions since it was still in the raw stage. Fast forward to today, and after hearing the final produced version of Aarzu , I couldn’t help but reflect on that first draft. The difference is night and day. It’s incredible to see how far the song has come—from a rough demo to a polished masterpiece. The journey from then to now has been such a ride, and I’m so proud of how it turned out.
Shubham has always had a passion for music, and his dedication to pursuing this dream has finally paid off. Launching an original song is no small feat—it requires a combination of hard work, vision, and the right team. Parul Singh’s lyrical mastery brings depth and emotion to the song, crafting words that resonate with listeners and tell a powerful story. On the other hand, Vidushi Gupta’s musical composition adds a soulful touch to the song.
