MIFF - Mumbai International Film Festival.
It was an immediate decision of mine to attend MIFF - Mumbai International Film Festival along with my batch from Arena Animation. That visit made our day, actually. We all meet in class around 9 AM and leave with our respective groups towards Grant Road where MIFF - Mumbai International Film Festival was held. It took us all an hour to reach, but the procedure to get our ID's was very long. Subsequently, we got in with our ID's.
We took museum tickets from the counter which were actually free for us as Arena Animation. students. As soon as we entered we saw MIFF - Mumbai International Film Festival promotional banner. I saw it everywhere and all Arena students were clicking pictures as we were just waiting for the museum door to open. And it happened, and the things we all did inside are listed below one by one.
"Origin of Cinema" - The first room collection was purely dedicated towards the origin of cinema. Various scope based boxes were used to project cinema. For example - praxinoscope, zoetropes and mutoscope and many more.

It was an old time movie box from which we could see some basic animations. Yes, watching the motion inside was quite a different experience as the level of animation today's is drastically changed from the level of animation in that era. Inside that there was a screen actually projecting a movie and 5 people can see that at one time. Indeed, a different thing I came across.

The wax statue of
Satyajit Ray was totally out standing. He was everything that a filmmaker wants to be not just a filmmaker he was a versatile artist who could do illustration, calligraphy, music composition and many more.
Silent to Talkies- Talkies actually changed the way of cinema vision as it also consisted of sound in them. The film industry bloomed in every aspect from time to time. Sound also helped to enhance the visual experience specially in comedy sound effects.

Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production came into existence. Along with that sound designing, VFX, animation and many more things also added up into making a movie.
Indian Cinema gave us gems in various sections of films as well as others. Indian cinema made life of artists, Gave chance to raw talents like acting, singing, directors and many more. I remember watching the movie named "
Pushpak" which was a film from the silent era. Initially I felt boring, but as soon as the story moved it made sense why this movie won National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, MORE.
